Founded in 1877, the department store "Zwieback & Bruder" (1st district, Kärntner Straße 11; Zwieback building) was one of Vienna's most important fashion companies. In the years before the outbreak of the First World War, the fashion salon located in the building complex was among the best addresses in Vienna.
Since 2017, the former Zwieback department store has housed the Sluka confectionery shop, Weihburggasse / Kärntner Strasse
